Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian and TV personality best known as the anchor for The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and was raised in Little Rock, Atwater, as well as Atwater. Sheryl is from an extended family with numerous issues. Sheryl was a part of her childhood helping her younger sister Frankie, who had polio. When she was a kid, her relationships with her mother were rocky. Sheryl said she was once told that her mother had stabbed the father of her child as she was getting close to the father. Sheryl when she graduated from college was drafted into the military. But, she was interested in comedy. In 1989, she was the first female to make it to the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV professional career started in 1992 when she was a guest actor on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the television talk show Oh Drama! Presently, she is a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. She has also appeared in a variety of fictional characters on series like Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
